…On April 23, 1985 I met with an accident and suffered a heavy injury to my right leg nerve. Thirteen years after the initial injury, on February 19, 1998, I fell on the ice and broke my leg for the second time. After five bedridden years the physician advised to go out and try to walk. I could hardly move, even with the help of walking stick, when Sophya and Edik came up to me and asked: “Are you alone? Haven’t you got anyone to help you? How have you come out of home in that state?” Hardly keeping my tears in, I said: “As you see”. And at that moment I noticed a ray of hope that had faded but had not yet died away.
They helped me reach home and so, I obtained true-hearted friends in them. This was in June, 1998.
…I am thankful for the kind work you perform, I am thankful for you knocking at my door and asking about my health. There is a proverb: “He who asks you, he cures you”. Thank you very much to all of you.
