June 20- World Refugee Day
World Refugee Day is marked on 20 June worldwide.
As of May, 2022 more than 100 million people around the world were forcibly displaced due to persecution, conflict, violence, human rights abuses, or serious disruption of public order.
Mission Armenia NGO, within its activities has implemented and continues to implement various programs based on international humanitarian law, aimed at the protection of the rights of refugees, addressing their social issues, their integration into communities.
For more than 25 years, Mission Armenia in cooperation with the UNHCR in Armenia provides
-social,
-health,
-legal,
-humanitarian assistance,
-Community integration
services to about 5,000 refugees and asylum-seekers.
We join the call of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grande, to express our solidarity with the refugees in our communities and around the world.
