Visit to the Mission Armenia’s Hrazdan center

Recently, an opening ceremony of a modern playground built by the funding of the UNHCR through Mission Armenia charitable NGO took place in Hrazdan.

The event was attended by Mr. Sevak Mikaelyan, Mayor of Hrazdan, Mrs. Lila Peters Yahya, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Mrs. Silia Kasman, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation for Cooperation, Mrs. Anna-Karin Ost, UNHCR Representative and other guests.

The guests of the event also visited Mission Armenia’s Hrazdan day-care center, where they got acquainted with the services provided to the elderly and the problems related to the field. The elderly people lovingly gave handmade presents- Nuard dolls, to the guests.

During the visit in the center, the guests also visited the Organization’s Hrazdan Child friendly space. They had a conversation with the families displaced from Artsakh, got acquainted with their problems and challenges. During the conversation, the parents had the opportunity to ask their questions to the members of the delegation, as well as to share their suggestions.

Mission Armenia highly appreciates the role of the Hrazdan community and international organizations in assisting and integrating displaced persons.
