📢 Vacancy Announcement | Trainer for Financial Planning and Financial Literacy

About the Project

Mission Armenia NGO is seeking a qualified Trainer for Financial Planning and Financial Literacy to support the implementation of the project “Empowerment of Refugees and Host Communities: Improving Employability and Sustainable Integration”, implemented in partnership with ASB and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

As part of the project’s economic integration component, financial planning and financial literacy training sessions will be organized for project beneficiaries to strengthen their financial management skills, promote responsible borrowing, improve entrepreneurial capacities and facilitate access to financial services and microfinance opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

The selected Trainer will:

✔Design and deliver interactive financial planning and financial literacy training sessions for project beneficiaries;

✔Develop training agendas, session plans, presentations and participant training materials;

✔Facilitate practical learning through case studies, budgeting exercises, financial simulations and participatory activities;

Deliver training modules on:

-financial planning and household budgeting;

-financial literacy and financial decision-making;

-responsible borrowing and debt management;

-bookkeeping, costing and basic accounting;

-pricing, budgeting and cash-flow management;

-financial planning for entrepreneurship;

-preparation of financial sections of business plans;

-banking services, microfinance opportunities and responsible use of financial services;

✔Provide practical guidance on loan and microfinance application procedures;

✔Support beneficiaries in developing personal financial plans and business financial plans;

✔Participate, where applicable, in meetings and information sessions with financial institutions and microfinance organizations;

✔Collect participant feedback and maintain attendance records;

✔Prepare narrative reports and submit final training materials.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

✔A university degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking or another relevant field;

✔At least three years of professional experience in financial literacy, financial planning, entrepreneurship development, business finance or microfinance;

✔Experience in designing and delivering training courses for adult learners;

✔Knowledge of personal financial management, responsible borrowing, bookkeeping, costing, budgeting and basic accounting;

✔Familiarity with the Armenian banking sector, microfinance institutions and financial products;

✔Understanding of entrepreneurship development and business planning;

✔Experience working with vulnerable groups, refugees or livelihood programs is considered an asset;

✔Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills;

✔Ability to develop practical training materials, exercises and financial planning tools;

✔Fluency in Armenian; knowledge of English is an asset;

✔Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality and respect for diversity.
