About the Project
Mission Armenia NGO is seeking a qualified Trainer to support the implementation of the project “Empowerment of Refugees and Host Communities: Improving Employability and Sustainable Integration”, implemented in partnership with ASB Germany and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
As part of the project’s institutional capacity-building component, workshops will be organized for community social workers across Armenia to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in community resource mobilization, employment-related services, local development and support to vulnerable populations.
Main Responsibilities
The selected Trainer will:
Design and deliver interactive training workshops for community social workers;
Develop training agendas, session plans and training materials;
Facilitate practical learning through case studies, group work and participatory exercises;
Deliver modules on:
community resource mobilization,
employment-related services and referral mechanisms,
local development processes,
access to community resources for vulnerable groups,
stakeholder engagement and local partnerships,
proposal development and community initiatives;
collect participant feedback and maintain attendance records;
prepare concise narrative reports and submit final training materials.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
A university degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, Community Development, Social Sciences or a related field;
Experience in designing and delivering training courses for adult learners;
Knowledge of community-based social services, referral mechanisms, livelihood support and local development processes;
Familiarity with Armenian social protection and social service systems;
Strong facilitation and communication skills;
Ability to develop practical training materials and exercises;
Fluency in Armenian; knowledge of English is an asset;
Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality and respect for diversity.
