On September 18, trade exhibition/ fair of various nations? souvenirs and dishes, as well as different organizations? goods and products was organized at Armenia Marriott Hotel by the International Association of Yerevan Women.
The Association had gratuitously provided a desk to “Mission Armenia” NGO representatives, which the latter exploited it for the demonstration and sale of the handmade works, pictures, books and other works of the beneficiaries. In addition, basic mission and activities of ?Mission Armenia? NGO were presented to the local and international visitors; informative leaflets and booklets, telling about organization and its separate projects, were distributed to the visitors.
In this trade exhibition on behalf of ?Mission Armenia? NGO works of Ledik Nersisyan, Edmond Simonyan, Varsenik Boghosyan, Roza Musheghyan, Dunya Sargsyan and other beneficiaries were presented.
Visitors? attention was attracted with the aged beneficiaries? chain stitched napkins, embroidered tablecloths, and also images made in Egyptian style and portrait of Charles Anznavour pictured on ceramic tiles. Canvases of Mission Armenia beneficiary Elena Abrahamyan also were generating a great interest around the visitors. The interesting thing was that although the aim of exhibition was the sale of exhibits, not all beneficiaries wished to be detached from their works and submitted only few for sale. This proves the fact that even being in severe need creative spirit yell and art cannot be sold.
