The month of May symbolizes the liberty loving spirit of the Armenian nation. In this month numerous victories were recorded, which had turn into memorial days and expected holidays for our society. For ?Mission Armenia? beneficiaries, in particular for the Patriotic War veterans, May is a beloved month.
In several Community centers of the Organization 9th May events have been already started. For instance, on 6th May the beneficiaries of Charentsavan city were hosted by the city?s number 3 secondary school. Beneficiaries met the graduates and discussed issues such as the Patriotic War, Shushi liberation, and in general the Armenian joint victories and classes on history. Organization several beneficiaries- Gevorg Khancharlyan, who previously held a teacher position in the same school, veterans of Patriotic War Aleksander Abrahamov, Benik Avanesov, Volodya Grigoryan shared their bright memories to our future heroes- pupils. Magda Khchoyan, a social officer of Hrazdan community center, also appeared with a speech. She told, ?When looking at our veterans, I always perceive them as Great people, and in a victorious state, though they are now old and undersized, and I bend my head in front of them. Thank you? Thank you so much! After 50 years rest Your spirit arouse in Karabakh during the Shushi liberation, and in result of which Karabakh was liberated. The old dream of the Armenian nation had come true. Lets give a minute of silence to respect the memory of all victims, who were killed and did not see the victory. This is not essential for those who have died, but is vital for those who are alive.? Magda Khchoyan?s speech was met with lots of applauses and both the guests and the hosts were excited.
In the end the pupils and the guests were shown a film about Christopher Ivan Ivanyan, who was Armenian military servant, lieutenant-general, participant of the World War the Second and Artsakh Liberation, Artsakh Hero and a bearer of ?Gold Eagle? order.
In the end of the film both the guests and the pupils came out of the school with the feeling of proud and triumphal spirit. We only can wish them new victories and inflexible will power to overcome all the hardships and battle calls thrown from the destiny.
